Interfaith Action’s Teens to Pilot New Online Dialogue Forum

Interfaith Action, in collaboration with Idealogue, Inc., will pilot an exciting new online dialogue forum for youth.  The mission behind Idealogue, Inc. is to combine technological innovation with idealism to help create a better world.  Idealogue founder Noam Shore brings together extensive business experience and a passion for utilizing technology to address social challenges.  IFA will be using one of Shore’s latest developments, beyondtolerance.org, in an effort to engage teens in an online medium that fosters and encourages positive, constructive dialogue.

The website has been piloted at the university level by students at Wellesley College, and Interfaith Action is excited and privileged to be piloting the high school portion of the beyondtolerance site.  Soon, we are hoping to begin dialogue exchanges with teens in the Dheisheh refugee camp in Bethlehem.  A year from now, we hope that IFA teens will have had the opportunity to dialogue online with a number of teens throughout the Middle East.

The pilot of this program will begin with a small group of IFA teens, but is open to anyone interested in using the internet to further interfaith relations and who wants to take part in this innovative opportunity for online dialogue.

For any questions about how you can get involved in exciting project, please contact IFA Youth Program Director Jason Smith.

This has been Interfaith Action; thanks for stopping by.
