This exciting on-going local cable series began on Sharon Community TV in the winter and spring of 2009. The interviews feature some of Sharon’s most fascinating folks. The collection of personal histories is inspiring and impressive. The local TV series gala preview night at the Sharon Community Center on Dec 11, 2009 was featured in article in the Boston Globe South the following week.

WHAT: Interfaith Community Iftar
WHERE: Islamic Center of New England, 80 Chase Drive, Sharon, MA
WHEN: Monday, September 6th at 7:00 p.m.
WHY: Join the Sharon community to celebrate the holy Islamic month of Ramadan with our Muslim neighbors by sharing an iftar (breaking of the fast) meal together on Labor Day. The food promises to be delightfully delicious, and the company friendly and fun!

First Meeting of Youth Leadership Program Year

WHO: All local high school teens who live, worship or work in Sharon and their parents

WHAT: The first Youth Leadership Program (YLP) Meeting along with concurrent Parent Meeting

WHERE: First Baptist Church, 2 S. Main St., Sharon, MA 02067

WHEN: Check-in starts at 6:30PM; Meeting from 7-8:30PM. NOTE NEW MEETING TIME THIS YEAR!

Prior to the meeting, please register on-line and parents complete the parental consent form. Annual fee of $200 payable via on-line invoice or with check to IFA. Family rates apply. Fee waivers possible. Contact Jason Smith for more.
